The use of scales which are used to indicate the size of the nodes is also removed from the viewpoint of the consumer and this is done using the scale bar. The scale bar is a sign of the size of these entities and contains a pub of different widths for the different kinds of nodes. Using scales allows for the changes in the size of the various things to be noted.
